Swing and Light Festival 2023

On the 8th and 9th of September 2023, a new event format was launched in the city centre of Magdeburg. The commercial association IG Innenstadt e.V. invited people to the inaugural 'Swing & Light Festival'. Various Swing and Jazz bands performed on multiple stages, creating a wonderful experience for visitors in the city centre.

As a highlight, the Town Hall on the Old Market Square was illuminated in a new light from 10 PM on both days. Following two successful shows on the Cathedral Square, the 'Beamer Mapping Festival' relocated to the Old Market Square. The mapping show was carried out by Visual Impression GmbH."
